An organization listed on this register with the status Active has been certified as meeting the interoperability standards of the Velocity Interoperability Network and is entitled to use its key on the Network. The key identifies the organization in every exchange it takes part in. Other members may rely on a listing as evidence of certification without further enquiry. An organization that is not listed, or whose status is not Active, is not a member of the Network, whatever it may claim.
